Jennefer Walsh

Jennefer Walsh, CFP®

Jennefer is the President and Owner of Walsh Financial Solutions.  She has counseled hundreds of professionals, business owners, couples, parents, and retirees in making smart and healthy financial decisions.

Jennefer began her professional career as a Database Analyst at IBM in Boulder, Colorado.  She quickly realized that she preferred working with people instead of computers and she rediscovered her passion for helping others.

In 2002, Jennefer jumped with both feet into the financial planning profession.  She began rigorous financial planning coursework at the Metropolitan State College of Denver and, in 2005, she met the requirements of the Certified Financial Planner™ certification.

After several years of working as an Assistant Financial Planner, Jennefer spread her wings and launched Walsh Financial Solutions in Golden, Colorado.  In the next 17 years, she grew her client base to include individuals across the state of Colorado, in fifteen other US states, and who range from 21 to 92 in age.

Jennefer has hands-on experience in tax preparation and in life and business coaching.  She successfully led over thirty discussion groups for women relating to financial health and wellness.  And, she led one of Denver’s powerful community partnership programs to help facilitate and build strategic alliances between individuals, businesses, and nonprofits.

Ms. Walsh is a past President of the Colorado Chapter of the Financial Planning Association (FPA®), a 570 member professional association, and she served on the Board of Directors for 7 years.

Jennefer received her undergraduate degree from the Kelley School of Business at Indiana University in Bloomington, Indiana.

Personally, Ms. Walsh celebrated her 17-year wedding anniversary with her wonderful husband, Patrick, in the fall.  Jennefer and Patrick have a 14 year-old son, Gavin, a 12 year-old son, Luke, and an 8 year-old son, Jack, who are the sunshines of their lives.  Together, they enjoy soccer, skiing, and Colorado living.

Jenna is the Client Services Manager at Walsh Financial Solutions. 

Professionally, Mrs. Galey comes to us with over 15 years of experience working in corporate environments.  She has an extensive background in marketing, project management, and customer service relations. 

Prior to joining the firm, Jenna was the Director of the Broomfield Business Resource Center, working closely with the City of Broomfield, Chamber of Commerce and Small Business Development Centers to provide training and resources for small businesses and entrepreneurs in the area.

Mrs. Galey graduated from San Diego State University in San Diego, California with a Bachelor's degree in Communication, emphasis in International and Intercultural Studies.

Personally, Jenna and her husband, Chance, have two little girls, Ayden and Kellyn, who keep them very busy.
